Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • ¼ cup Honey mustard
  • 1 cup sliced Fresh mushrooms
  • 8 strips cooked Bacon
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar cheese
  • Chopped parsley for garnishing

Instructions
 

Step 1-Prepare the Chicken

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Sear the chicken breasts for 4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
  • Tip: Getting a good sear on the chicken not only improves flavor but also locks in juices!

Step 2-Assemble the Dish

  • Transfer the seared chicken to a baking dish.
  • Spread honey mustard over each chicken breast.
  • Top with sliced mushrooms, crisp bacon strips, and shredded cheese.
  • Note: Layering the ingredients this way allows every bite to be packed with flavor!

Step 3-Bake

  • Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Warning: Always check that the chicken is cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) to ensure it’s safe to eat.

Notes

  • For extra juiciness, let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
