- 1 teaspoon Blue spirulina powder
- 2 tablespoons Fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon Honey optional
- 10 leaves Mint leaves
- 500 ml Sparkling water
- As needed Ice cubes
Step 1-Prepare the Base
Add the blue spirulina powder, fresh lemon juice, grated ginger, and honey to the blender.
Blend until smooth.
Note: If you prefer a sweeter taste, adjust the amount of honey according to your preference.
Step 2-Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a large pitcher.
Add the mint leaves and fill the pitcher with sparkling water.
Stir well to combine.
Warning: Always check the freshness of your spirulina, as a sour smell indicates that it is no longer good to consume.
Step 3-Add Ice and Enjoy
Fill serving glasses with ice cubes.
Pour the tonic over the ice.
Garnish with a sprig of mint or a slice of lemon.
Note: This tonic is best enjoyed fresh to take full advantage of its vibrant flavors and health benefits.
- For a non-carbonated version, substitute sparkling water with still water.
- You can add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the blend for an extra metabolism boost.
