- 8 ounces Dry fusilli pasta
- 2 cups Romaine lettuce chopped
- 1 cup Cherry tomatoes halved
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese shredded
- 1 cup Cooked chicken breast cubed
- 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
- 1/2 cup Croutons
- To taste Salt
- To taste Black pepper
Step 1 – Cook the Pasta
Boil water in a large pot with a pinch of salt.
Add fusilli pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process.
Remember, you want the pasta to have a bit of a bite to hold up the dressing!
Step 2 – Prepare the Vegetables and Chicken
While the pasta cooks, chop the romaine lettuce and halve the cherry tomatoes.
Cube the cooked chicken breast to bite-size pieces.
Chopping everything into uniform sizes ensures each bite is as satisfying as the last.
Step 3 – Combine Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, toss the cooled pasta with the lettuce, tomatoes, chicken, and half of the parmesan cheese.
Add the Caesar dressing and toss until everything is well coated.
A good toss is crucial to make sure every piece gets an even coating of that delicious Caesar dressing.
Step 4 – Serve
Transfer the salad to a serving dish.
Top with the remaining parmesan and croutons.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Always season your salad just before serving to keep the flavors fresh and bold.
- For a vegetarian version, omit the chicken and add more veggies like cucumbers and bell peppers.
- If you like your salad extra creamy, feel free to drizzle additional Caesar dressing just before serving.
