- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Warm water
- 1 tsp Instant yeast
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup Pizza sauce
- 1/2 cup Pepperoni slices
Step 1 – Prepare the Dough
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
Gradually add warm water and olive oil, mixing until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth, about 5 minutes.
Note: Perfect pizza starts with perfect dough. Don’t rush the kneading!
Step 2 – Let the Dough Rise
Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it with a damp cloth.
Let it rise in a warm place until it doubles in size, about 1 hour.
Step 3 – Preheat the Oven and Prepare Toppings
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce and arrange pepperoni slices on top.
Warning: Make sure your oven is hot enough before baking to get that perfectly crisp crust.
Step 4 – Bake the Pizza
Transfer the pizza to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
Bake in the preheated oven until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly, about 12-15 minutes.
Fact: Chuck E Cheese uses a conveyor belt oven that cooks their pizzas evenly and quickly!
- For an extra crispy crust, preheat your baking sheet or pizza stone in the oven.
- If you like your pizza extra cheesy, feel free to add more cheese!
