Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Warm water
  • 2 tsp Active dry yeast
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese shredded
  • 2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley chopped

Instructions
 

Step 1 – Prepare the Dough

  • Mix warm water, yeast, and sugar in a bowl. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  • Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  • Knead on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes.
  • Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled.
  • After kneading, the dough should be soft and elastic, a sign of well-developed gluten.

Step 2 – Shape and Season

  • Punch down the dough and roll out on a floured surface into a rectangle.
  • Mix garlic powder with olive oil and brush over the dough.
  • Sprinkle evenly with both cheeses and parsley.
  • Roll up the dough lengthwise, slice into 6 equal pieces, and place on a baking sheet.
  • Rolling the dough tightly ensures no cheese escapes during baking!

Step 3 – Bake to Perfection

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cover the rolls with a damp cloth and let them rise again for 30 minutes.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • A golden crust with melted cheese peeking out is your cue that a heavenly treat is ready!

Notes

  • For an extra golden top, brush the rolls with a bit of beaten egg before baking.
