- 4 large Potatoes
- 3 tablespoons Olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 cup Cheddar cheese shredded
- ½ cup Sour cream
- 2 Jalapeños sliced
- ¼ cup Red onion diced
- 2 tablespoons Fresh cilantro chopped
- 1 Lime wedged for serving
Step 1 – Prep the Potatoes
Wash and slice the potatoes into about ½ inch thick wedges.
Toss them in a bowl with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
Note: Make sure each wedge is evenly coated for the best flavor!
Step 2 – Bake the Potatoes
Arrange the potato wedges on a baking sheet in a single layer.
Bake at 425°F (220°C) for about 20 minutes or until golden and crispy.
Warning: Keep an eye on them to avoid burning!
Step 3 – Add the Toppings
Remove the potatoes from the oven.
Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the hot potatoes so it melts beautifully.
Tip: The heat from the potatoes will melt the cheese perfectly.
Step 4 – Final Touches
Top with sour cream, jalapeños, red onion, and cilantro.
Serve with lime wedges on the side for a tangy kick.
- To keep your potatoes extra crispy, don’t overcrowd the baking sheet. Give them some space to breathe!
- For an extra kick, add a dash of cayenne pepper along with the paprika.
