Cutting board
- 1 pound Salmon fillet
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Honey
- 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons Green onions chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
Step 1 β Preparing the Salmon
Cut the salmon into 1-inch cubes. Ensure they are even to cook uniformly.
Place the salmon cubes in a bowl.
Make sure the salmon is patted dry before cutting to prevent it from cooking unevenly.
Step 2 β Marinating
Combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, soy sauce, and honey in a mixing bowl.
Whisk until the mixture is well combined.
Pour the marinade over the salmon cubes.
Gently toss the salmon to coat evenly.
Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
A longer marination time will enhance the flavors significantly.
Step 3 β Baking
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Arrange the marinated salmon cubes on the baking sheet. Make sure they are not touching.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and season with salt and black pepper.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is fully cooked and golden.
Salmon is best enjoyed when itβs cooked but still moist inside.
- For extra crispiness, broil the salmon bites for the last 2-3 minutes.
- Keeping it juicy: Avoid overcooking the salmon to maintain its juiciness.
