  • 4 large potatoes cut into wedges

Step 1-Prepping the Potatoes

  • Wash and cut the potatoes into wedges.
  • For at least 30 minutes, submerge them in water to get rid of extra starch.
  • Dry them thoroughly with a towel.
  • Note: Soaking the potatoes is key to achieving that crisp exterior and fluffy interior!

Step 2-Mixing the Seasoning

  • In a large bowl, combine olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • Include the potato wedges in the bowl and mix them around so they are evenly covered.
  • Warning: Ensure each wedge is well-coated with oil and seasoning for the best flavor!

Step 3-Baking the Fries

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • After seasoning the potatoes, spread them out in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Around 20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Tip: Turn the fries halfway through baking to get them evenly crispy!

Notes

  • To make it spicier, add a little cayenne pepper to the seasoning mix.
